RMMV Project Stream Demo

Introduction: Welcome! I'm Chase with Draconic Games, and this is my first game! I've never used RMMV or any other RM engine, and gave myself the goal of finishing a playable (maybe not good, but playable) demo by the end of my twitch stream! It took about 4-1/2 hours but I did it, and here's the fruit of my labor.

Concept: Try to make a game with the help of Twitch chat, who ultimately decides what direction the game goes in. Seriously, just about everything I've added has been of the instruction or guidance from Twitch chat.

Story: There isn't really a story right now. I want to make a world the player (hopefully you) can get engrossed in. I want to make the story revolve around the world, instead of building the world to suit the story. I want all the events to play out naturally, so for now, a main story line is taking a back seat to building a lively and believable world.  In the current release (Demo v0.5) there is no real story. There's a "functional" gameplay loop consisting of a forest to fight monsters, a small village to recruit a group member and a store to purchase equipment and items. There was no idea of a story when starting out, I have since gone under development daily and off stream to really turn this project into something. Details on the story to be revealed on the release of the full demo (v1.0)

Development Status: Active development

Hopefully I can get a full demo out by the end of October!  Coming up on the end of January 2024 now and the full demo is not out yet... clearly it did not go as I wanted.
